Welcome to Sunrise Preschool at Broadway and McClintock, where we pride ourselves on being a high-quality early learning center. My name is Kasey Perry, and I am the school Director. At our school, we strive to ensure that parents feel safe and secure leaving their children with us and that those children leave every day smiling. We know that early education is integral in establishing a solid foundation for a child's educational journey. Our goal for students is to foster an environment where each child can challenge themselves and achieve success. As many of our staff are parents themselves, we understand how rewarding and demanding a parent's role can be, especially for working parents. We are committed to providing a supportive community for the families we serve. We all want our students to be happy, nurtured, and provided with the best learning opportunities. Our staff members provide a safe environment and nurture your child on their learning journey, while giving them the freedom to explore and develop in a warm, caring environment. We believe in maintaining open and ongoing communication with parents. We provide regular updates via SPS Moments, including photos, details of your child’s day, and important announcements. We also offer parent-teacher conferences and are always available for in-person or phone conversations.
Our HighReach Learning Curriculum incorporates a variety of activities designed to support children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development. From creative arts and crafts to outdoor play, music, and early literacy programs, each day is filled with engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage hands-on learning through play.
Yes! We provide free nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day, prepared following USDA and CACFP guidelines. Our menu caters to children’s dietary needs and preferences, ensuring they receive healthy and balanced meals while in our care.
Yes, Sunrise Preschool Broadway & MicClintock is fully licensed and adheres to all state and local regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of every child in our care. Many of our locations also hold additional quality ratings and accreditations, highlighting our commitment to high standards in early childhood education.
We take allergies and dietary restrictions very seriously. We encourage parents to share any specific needs their child(ren) during enrollment, and we’ll make sure your their meals are prepared safely. Our center also follows a nut-free policy, and we’re careful to prevent cross-contamination in our kitchen.

They said they would call me, but I never received the call. My sister called to ask, and they told her there was an app where they had provided information, but I'm not aware of any app from the school. They told her that if the school is closed, I can take him to another school, Sunrise, but they didn't inform me about that either. I was very difficult with my son because I had to work and had no one to take care of him. I love the school; I just think there should be more communication with me because of the language barrier.

My daughter was having behavioral issues but Ms. Alexis and Ms. Destiny called me in and discussed ways to deal with them and went over a plan with me for my daughter to be successful! Now she sits still in class and has even improved at home!
