Welcome to Sunrise Preschools in Tempe, where we pride ourselves on being a high-quality early learning center. My name is Amber Testa, and I am the school Director. I have been at Sunrise for 20 years. At our school, we strive to ensure that parents feel safe and secure leaving their children with us and that those children leave every day smiling. We know that early education is integral in establishing a solid foundation for their child's educational journey.
Our goal for students is to foster an environment where each child can challenge themselves and achieve success. As many of our staff are parents themselves, we understand how rewarding and demanding a parent's role can sometimes be, especially as a working parent. We are committed to providing a supportive community for the families we serve. We all want our students to be happy, nurtured, and provided with the best learning opportunities. Our staff members provide a safe environment and nurture your child on their learning journey while giving them the freedom to explore and develop in a warm and caring environment.

3/2/2026I wanted to write this review to say this new change in management has been fantastic for this team! I see smiles and the kindness in the teachers/admins hearts for these kids. My 3 year old granddaughter absolutely LOVES miss Junie and coming to school. I love being able to see all of the office staff day to day they greet you with a warm smile and Hello even in the mist of craziness.a huge shout out to Miss Morgan and Miss Brianne they have been such a huge part of this center for the entire time my granddaughter has been enrolled since she was 4 months old both are fantastic in all aspects and we LOVE to see them out of a class being apart of the admin team! We absolutely love Miss Liz any concern we’ve had in the last few months has been rectified and fixed immediately. We absolutely love the care this facility puts into the families.

2/5/2026Our grandchild has attended this daycare for almost four years and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Since infancy, this has been a place where they have truly grown not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. It’s been so special to watch them move through the rooms alongside some of the same children, forming friendships that have lasted from babies into the preschool years. The leadership and staff make all the difference. The new director, Liz, along with the rest of the administrative team, are absolutely wonderful. They are warm, attentive, and consistently greet families as they pass by, which creates such a welcoming and positive environment. You can tell they genuinely care about the children and families. Most importantly… our grandchild has always loved going to school here. Even on weekend visits, they talk excitedly about their teachers, friends, and activities. That enthusiasm says everything. We are incredibly grateful for the loving, supportive community this daycare provides and highly recommend it to families looking for a place where children truly thrive.

8/7/2025This is my first time using daycare... I definitely did my legwork and I toured with 7 different daycares. I ended up choosing this one mainly because it's right by my work. I was a initially feeling good about it after I toured and saw at a glance the rating was 4.6 overall... then I went into the reviews and became uneasy because the most recent reviews were negative... I called the school and inquired with them about the negative review.... I felt the response given was transparent and honest. I decided to still give it a try... I will say my baby is a newborn... and the girls in the infant room have been amazing...I really love Ms. Jackie... she's so good with my son.. which is very comforting because hes only about 11 weeks old. Not to take away from the other gals... who are also amazing!! I feel confident with the level of care and kindness they give my son. With management we've got Cassie and Tiana... both ladies are amazing and i see them always helping out... I absolutely love Tiana ..she's got a great personality, professional and yet fun and always gives love to my baby and makes him smile and laugh! While I understand no business can please everyone... I decided to gamble and still tryout this daycare despite the recent negative review...... I'm happy in my decision and grateful for these amazing ladies who watch over my baby boy!

12/17/2024From the very first interaction at Sunrise we’ve had a positive experience. The facilities are nice. They are equipped with amenities for the kids to play and interact with each other based on their age group. The Director, Amalia has always been understanding, helpful and friendly. All of her staff is friendly and you can tell they all love their jobs. Our son loves going to Sunrise everyday. He has made connections with his teachers, other kids and has continued to develop and flourish. It’s a big decision to send your child to daycare and I’m glad we found Sunrise.

6/19/2024I really love this location and all the Staff/Teachers. My boys have been attending for over a year now, and my experience has been outstanding. Ms. Robin is such an amazing teacher, and the love and care she shows for all the children is unbelievable. She communicates with me about his development/growth & day to day routines. My oldest requires a little more one-on-one time, Ms. Robin shows him so much love and consistency. It feels good to have teachers that you can feel comfortable with, and see how much your child enjoys them. He's now moved on to the big boy 3’s class 🥲 Ms. Jenna is also very kind, soft spoken, and patient with my son. Its still a work in progress transitioning him, but we are getting there. My youngest favorite teacher is Ms. Esther, She's been his teacher since 1 years old and the warm welcoming during the morning drop Off’s means a lot. She's also very patient and loving! My boys aren’t just playing and watching YouTube all day, they are learning and interacting with other children. They are learning the needed skills to be ready for kindergarten. The boys love all their teachers! 😃 Shot out to Ms. Jackie and April you ladies Rock!! Thank you Megan for all your check in calls if the boys get hurt.. They call me immediately, and this is #1 for me because of bad experience in the past with another daycare. The most important part to me is that I can address my concerns, and things are handled in a timely manner. The Director Amolia and Asst. Director Michelle are on top of things when it comes to communicating about the boys. As a parent finding a good daycare you can trust is hard, but I do feel at ease dropping them off. They enjoy being with friends, having fun, playing, and learning. If I could Rate them a 10 plus I would! Thank you all so much!!

8/4/2023We just love Sunrise, and ALL the staff there! My daughter has been going there since she was an infant. They made me feel so at ease leaving her for the first time. Even when she started eating solid foods, I felt comfortable, knowing she was in good hands. Everyone was always so sweet to my daughter, and I always felt they were excited to see her and happy to take care of her. Also, the food provided daily for breakfast/lunch/snacks gives us one less thing to worry about! Great place!

I love the fact both my daughters get to be in the same place. The teachers are so gentle with the kids and truly caring. 7/15/2023Since enrolling my daughter into this preschool she has learned so much, the infant teachers have worked so hard to teach my little one to walk and she smiles so big the second she sees her teachers. The school is amazing, and the front office staff is very genuine and always greets us as we arrive and depart. i highly recommend this school.

7/13/2023I absolutely love this daycare. My granddaughter has been attending this daycare for about 6 months and has felt like home from the start. The staff all the way around are very loving and caring people. No other daycare center could ever compare.
