Welcome to Sunrise Preschools in Phoenix, where we pride ourselves on being a high-quality early learning center. I am Alma Rosales, the school Director. At our school, we strive to ensure that parents feel safe and secure leaving their children with us and that those children leave every day smiling. We know that early education is integral in establishing a solid foundation for their child's educational journey. Our goal for students is to foster an environment where each child can challenge themselves and achieve success. As many of our staff are parents themselves, we understand how rewarding, but also how demanding the role of a parent can be at times, especially a working parent. We are committed to providing a supportive community for the families we serve. We all want our students to be happy, nurtured, and provided with the best learning opportunities. Our staff members are dedicated to providing a safe environment and assisting your child on their learning journey while giving them the freedom to explore and develop in a warm and caring environment. From creative arts and crafts to outdoor play, music, and early literacy programs, each day is filled with engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage hands-on learning through play.
Yes! We provide free nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day, prepared following USDA and CACFP guidelines. Our menu caters to children’s dietary needs and preferences, ensuring they receive healthy and balanced meals while in our care.
Yes, Sunrise Preschool 41st Ave & Northern is fully licensed and adheres to all state and local regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of every child in our care. Many of our locations also hold additional quality ratings and accreditations, highlighting our commitment to high standards in early childhood education.
We take allergies and dietary restrictions very seriously. We encourage parents to share any specific needs their child(ren) during enrollment, and we’ll make sure your their meals are prepared safely. Our center also follows a nut-free policy, and we’re careful to prevent cross-contamination in our kitchen.

6/3/2026I took my 3 month old son to Sunrise back in February and was an anxious mess leaving my baby with new people. I had heard so many horrible things about daycare, but Sunrise was exactly what we needed. Their hours were perfect for my husband and my work schedule, the infant room workers were all amazing and so loving. The room was always clean and well organized and my son learned so many things while in their care for 4 months. Ms. Silvia and Elda were amazing with my son and their new infant room worker was really great too. They were affordable and consistent. They made our experience with daycare very good, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone! Thank you, Sunrise team!

4/1/2026Hello again. Im here writing another review because these women deserve all the praise I can muster snd bring them. I'll start with miss Ashley, once again she swooped in life a hero and completely assisted in making sure that I got all of my des paperwork for my child care assistance done in time by printing up everything I needed( which is not her job in any shape or function) so that i could keep my son enrolled at sunrise. Now Mrs Alma, mrs Alma once again assisted me in making sure I was able to have all my documents ready for des daycare by also going above and beyond by taking time to print up vital documents that were absolutely necessary for my des process. While this review is long it is just another accurate account of these women being excellent at their profession.

11/13/2024So thankful to this center and amazing staff. I currently have two children enrolled full-time and one child in the before& after school program for school aged kids. Each of our teachers Ms.Nay, Ms.Monica and Ms.Angelica are so thoughtful and kind. They each provide our family much needed support in educational and emotional development and care in building strong relationships with each child to ensure the kids are comfortable in attendance each day. It really is a team effort and I'm so happy to have found a center that provides the resources need to set these kids a strong foundation. 10/10 for exceeding expectations in professionalism and excellence. Will recommend to friends and family!

10/26/2024I absolutely LOVE this school and the staff here! My son is 5 he didn’t make the cut off so I found myself looking for a school. Not only have they helped my son with his speech in as little as ONE week of being there, but he is always eager to go. This is his second preschool I had him in, the first one he went for 3.5 years and they clearly didn’t love him the way Sunrise does. Not only are they amazing staff but now I consider them as my family. The vibes are always amazing when I come and leave. I wish I met them when I had my last two babies but it’s okay because I can share to the world this is a SAFE HAVEN for your families. Don’t waste anymore time and get your tour and bring your babies!

This is his first preschool and probably the only one but it’s been wonderful to see him go from crying because of separation anxiety to running into the class room. My son is learning words and counting. It’s been great. Miss Monica is wonderful to she really loves the kids she teaches. Ashley the assistant directors has been great to us as well other teachers have been awesome to it’s just hard for me to remember everyone’s names. I hope my son continues to learn and grow here😊

5/15/2023Both of my children attended Sunrise and this school is by far the best preschool in the West valley. Sunrise has only gotten better over the years, especially under the new Director, Miss Alma and Assistant Director, Ashley. You can see how much time and effort they put into running the school and how much they care about their students and teachers. Sunrise provides a welcoming, safe, and friendly environment for kids. The staff are knowledgeable and kind and provide each child with the attention and care they need. The school is well-organized and always beautifully decorated. Besides pre-k, Sunrise also picks up school-aged kids from local elementary schools and even offers a summer camp program. My kids both loved their time there. Thank you Sunrise for all that you do for our kids!

9/21/2017I would recommend Sunrise Preschool to any parent who care for their child's safety, education, and development. My daughter switched from American Child Care which was an awful day care January of 2015. My child is now 6 years old and has been at Sunrise since 2015. My child has always had great teachers at Sunrise who show compassion and care for the children rather then see there positions as only a job. My daughter started kindergarten this year and we toured every daycare from Olive and 43 ave to Glendale and 51st avenue and back around. We adjust my child's school based on Sunrises bus rout only because of the quality of care she gets each and every day. Yes tuition is pricey but how much is your child worth in the long run?
