Welcome to Sunrise Preschools in Phoenix, where we pride ourselves on being a high-quality early learning center. My name is Sonia John Hernandez, and I am the school Director. At our school, we strive to ensure that parents feel safe and secure leaving their children with us and that those children leave every day smiling. We know that early education is integral in establishing a solid foundation for their child's educational journey.
Our goal for students is to foster an environment where each child can challenge themselves and achieve success. As many of our staff are parents themselves, we understand how rewarding and demanding a parent's role can sometimes be, especially as a working parent. We are committed to providing a supportive community for the families we serve. We all want our students to be happy, nurtured, and provided with the best learning opportunities. Our staff members provide a safe environment and nurture your child on their learning journey while giving them the freedom to explore and develop in a warm and caring environment.

Our HighReach Learning Curriculum incorporates a variety of activities designed to support children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development. From creative arts and crafts to outdoor play, music, and early literacy programs, each day is filled with engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage hands-on learning through play.

9/14/2026I’ve been with this location for 3years now ,my kids are ages 3,4&9 ! This location is the absolute best with superb management team *Shout out to Sonia & mr. Israel* ,understanding and works with you ! Staff is friendly and warm and loves your babies as their own- hot Meals are prepared fresh everyday ,which always consists of healthier varieties. Environment is always clean and sanitized . Price is reasonable ! The daycare also offers pick ups and drops off - which has been very reliable! My kids loves it here , Sunrise also plans year round activities which involves the whole family and brings everybody together , which I really look forward too ! I gave them a 10/10 ! What you waiting for ! Apply ! Join our family ! Trust me you won’t regret it !

The staff truly care about the children's well-being, safety, and development, creating a warm and nurturing environment where kids can learn and grow with confidence. The Director Sonia John Hernandez is exceptional and always supportive. The Director is very calm and always approachable and supportive. She communicates effectively with parents and handles every situation with patience and care. Assistant Director Israel is also very supportive and approachable. He is always available to address parents' questions and concerns. My children's teacher, Miss Destiny, does an excellent job caring for the children and ensuring their safety. She is always energetic, attentive, and supportive, creating a positive environment for the kids. The teachers and staff are friendly, caring, professional, and attentive to each child's needs.

3/12/2025My grandson has been attending this preschool since he was 6 weeks old. We love it here he is learning so much! The teacher's and front office ladies are always helpful. If we ask any staff a question even if it isn't his normal teachers they will help us immediately or find someone who can. Always clean and everyone seems happy. A few staff have left but that's not always a bad thing!

3/5/2025Our children have been attending sunrise for nearly five years now (infant-preschool ages). We’ve gone through lots of teachers and have always felt like they’ve cared for our kids and really want them to succeed. We wish the teacher turnover rate wasn’t so high, but I’m not sure you’ll find a daycare where that’s not the case. We appreciate the teachers who love our kids and know how to make drop offs a breeze, making it enjoyable to come back each morning. Our kids really enjoy their classes and we’re always impressed with how much they learn. We love the app that gives updates throughout the day to see what our kids have been doing. Not to mention the pictures! They always come home with artwork and projects they’ve been working on that we can proudly display in our home.

1/12/2025I’ve been with sunrise 1 year now -I have 3 kids currently enroll -moving to AZ with no family and friends - I was so scared and very reserved when it comes to any decision with my kids ! I did my research and decided on here- this sunrise location ! It’s the BEST-EST ! When I tell u that’s absolutely the best decision I’ve made ! The daycare smells like a bakery and it’s so clean and welcoming ! My kids does projects and activities and so much more ! I can see progress in them everyday ! The teachers are amazing and goes above and beyond for you and the kids -The manager Megan is amazing and friendly …. She’s a big sister /mother to me and mines ! Sonia at front desk - she has great personality and has a warm and welcoming customer service ! The daycare also organizes year round fun activities for parents and children . I can honestly say the whole team here is AMAZING! Trust me ! You have my word for it ! Don’t hesitate! Sign ur kids up ! You won’t regret it !

11/19/2024Sunrise preschools are great. From the moment we walked in to the Union Hills location we knew we found the right place for our child. It is spacious and well maintained, and most of all, the teachers are amazing. They are so extremely friendly and knowledgeable and we know our child is in safe hands with them. The director of the facility Maegon is amazing and is always super helpful. Would recommend this daycare to anyone. PS- Thank you Sofia and Cerena for always making my child happy and comfortable.

Our conference was with Sofia and it was great to have the one on one time! She was very friendly and informed us of all the activities our child has been involved in during her time at school. It is easy to see that Sofia is passionate about what she does and cares that our child is having a great experience at school.
