Welcome to Sunrise Preschools in Glendale, where we pride ourselves on being a high-quality early learning center. My name is Amanda Wagoner, and I am the school Director. At our school, we strive to ensure that parents feel safe and secure leaving their children with us and that those children leave every day smiling. We know that early education is integral in establishing a solid foundation for their child's educational journey.
Our goal for students is to foster an environment where each child can challenge themselves and achieve success. As many of our staff are parents themselves, we understand how rewarding and demanding a parent's role can sometimes be, especially as a working parent. We are committed to providing a supportive community for the families we serve. We all want our students to be happy, nurtured, and provided with the best learning opportunities. Our staff members provide a safe environment and nurture your child on their learning journey while giving them the freedom to explore and develop in a warm and caring environment.

Our HighReach Learning Curriculum incorporates a variety of activities designed to support children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development. From creative arts and crafts to outdoor play, music, and early literacy programs, each day is filled with engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage hands-on learning through play.
Yes! We provide free nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day, prepared following USDA and CACFP guidelines. Our menu caters to children’s dietary needs and preferences, ensuring they receive healthy and balanced meals while in our care.
Yes, Sunrise Preschool 59th Ave & Beardsley is fully licensed and adheres to all state and local regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of every child in our care. Many of our locations also hold additional quality ratings and accreditations, highlighting our commitment to high standards in early childhood education.
We take allergies and dietary restrictions very seriously. 1/20/2026This daycare has been so good to our family. Ever since our two daughters started, we have had nothing but positive experiences. Our girls have always been welcomed not only by the teachers in their classrooms, but all the staff in the building. Ms. Boo and Ms. Lavena have done an amazing job with helping my oldest daughter learn and it is clear to us that they go above and beyond to care for her in many ways. Ms. Starla and Ms. Tati have also been great with working with our youngest daughter. Lastly, Ms. Amanda and Ms. Cheyenne have made our family feel at home and we know our children are in great hands due to their dedication to the families at this school and outstanding communication. We couldn’t recommend this school more!

They always say hi and it feels very individualized even though I know they have a ton of students. Even the newer faces know each of us and we only attend 2 days a week.

One of the standout transformations has been the overall atmosphere of the daycare. Under Director Sara's guidance, the space has been revamped to feel more welcoming, vibrant, and child-friendly. The play areas have been thoughtfully redesigned with age-appropriate toys and engaging activities that keep the kids both entertained and challenged. Director Sara has also placed a strong emphasis on communication with parents. Regular updates, both through daily reports and monthly newsletters, ensure that I am always in the loop about my child’s progress, behavior, and any exciting activities happening at the center. She’s approachable, always happy to answer questions, and provides valuable insights into my child’s growth. Moreover, Director Sara’s leadership style fosters a nurturing and supportive environment for both the children and staff. You can see how the teachers are motivated and passionate about their work, and the positive energy translates directly to the kids. Overall, I am so impressed with the positive changes at this daycare and have seen firsthand how Director Sara's leadership has made a significant difference. I feel confident knowing my child is in such a caring and professionally-run daycare, and I would highly recommend it to any parent looking for a safe, stimulating, and fun environment for their little one.

1/22/2025We are new to this facility but so far we are having a great experience. Sara and Cheyenne are always friendly and welcoming. If I have questions or concerns they are quick to help solve any issue. My daughter is 2 and has been excited to attend school every day since we transitioned here at the beginning of the month. I was concerned with leaving our previous place after nearly 6 years but my daughter has transitioned very well with the help of Sara and Cheyenne and the teachers that work with her. The classrooms and facilities in general always look clean and ready to go each day. I also love that my son will be able to attend in the summer when he is out of school and that they have fun things offered to keep kids of any age learning and entertained. You can tell that Sara and Cheyenne genuinely love what they do and the kids they oversee. Would recommend for families with kids of all ages!

1/13/2025I can’t say how amazing this campus is. The staff and teachers genuinely love the children. Unfortunately my son suffered an un related life threatening medical issue and was in critical care for 2 weeks. Due to his medical needs I sadly had to unenroll him until he recovers. When I went in to update the staff and pay an outstanding bill they told me it was taken care of. There was also homemade cards made by his teachers. JUST WOW. I had been panicking how I was going to afford all my son’s medical bills and they surprised me with that gift. I would recommend them to anyone they truly care about the kids and family. The staff is incredibly caring and attentive, ensuring that our baby feels loved and cared for every day. The facilities are clean, and filled with plenty of toys for both learning and play.
