Welcome to Sunrise Preschools at North 91st Avenue, where we pride ourselves on being a high-quality early learning center. My name is Gissel Luna Medrano, and I am the school Director. At our school, we strive to ensure that parents feel safe and secure leaving their children with us and that those children leave every day smiling. We know that early education is integral in establishing a solid foundation for their child's educational journey. Our goal for students is to foster an environment where each child can challenge themselves and achieve success. As many of our staff are parents themselves, we understand how rewarding and demanding a parent's role can sometimes be, especially as a working parent. We are committed to providing a supportive community for the families we serve. We all want our students to be happy, nurtured, and provided with the best learning opportunities. Our staff members provide a safe environment and nurture your child on their learning journey while giving them the freedom to explore and develop in a warm and caring environment. He walks in excited every morning and comes home with new songs, new friends, and plenty of stories. The staff clearly care about each child, and the classrooms feel warm, safe, and full of curiosity. The teachers are what make this place special: - **Ms. Claire** is patient and encouraging, and she makes every child feel seen. - **Ms. Naveah** brings great energy and creativity to the day. Krishiv loves her activities. - **Mr. Jordan** is a fun, steady presence, and the kids light up around him. - **Ms. Becca** is nurturing and attentive, and she notices the little things that matter to parents. - **Ms. Gissel** is kind and reliable, and she always has a smile for the kids at drop-off. - **Ms. Gabby** is caring and upbeat, and she makes learning feel like play. 8/31/2026We are new to AZ and new to sunrise preschools. We toured Sunrise on 91st Ave for our girls. We fell in love with not only the building but the tour guide which ended up being the teacher our girls would be with daily. We are on week 4 and our girls LOVE this place and their teachers Ms. Claire and Ms. Naveah. They are soo kind and patient and all around AMAZING with our girls. It was very important we found not only a school but teachers that understood us and our KIDS. We have one that is up and at em and the other one is very quiet and shy and hard to break through her shell. She doesn’t go to just anyone. The first week you have the normally crying at drop off but one thing I LOVED AND APPRECIATED seeing was Ms. Naveah got down to my daughters level and gave her support. Week 2 we were out all week, week 3 was a little bit of crying but they still guided the shy daughter to participate in circle time ect. Week 4 has been great so far. They always have stories to tell us about school and are soo happy when they get to go to school. The end of the day it’s so much love in the room everyone says bye and gives hugs amongst the kids and teachers. Communication is always there when asked and not asked and I appreciate it more than they know. It’s the best feeling when you know yours kids are in good hands and you don’t have to worry your day away hoping your kids are doing good and being taken care of correctly. The building is nice and clean at all times when we come to pick them up. We are always greeted by someone when we walk into the door. This school is amazing. I couldn’t recommend it anymore and if you have 3 year olds ask for Ms Claire’s Room👏🤍🥹🤭🙏

6/18/2026My 2 and 3 year boys have been enrolled here for about a month now and this institution is impressive. The entire staff have always been pleasant and helpful; they greet all their students with love and kindness daily. The classrooms and playgrounds are age appropriate, clean, organized and kid friendly. What I find most outstanding is the extensive report they email after pick up highlighting all the activities, meals, naps etc offered throughout the day with photos. It isn’t easy trusting strangers with your kids but the staff at Sunrise Preschools on 91st Ave certainly ease that anxiety and fear. Would definitely recommend.

His teachers are incredibly patient, kind, and take the time to help him feel safe, comfortable, and supported each day. Although my son has many amazing teachers, Miss Clair deserves special recognition. She always greets not only us but, every child and parent with a beautiful smile and such positive, energy. She has a genuine dedication to everyone there and it truly shows. Knowing that Giovanni is in her care gives me so much peace of mind. She truly makes a difference in our son’s preschool experience, and we couldn’t ask for a better teacher. Thank you for all you do!

5/16/2026I wish I could add 10 stars. This Sunrise has the most amazing and attentive staff. They’ve gone through changes & remained as poised, professional & attentive as can be. From the first day we walked in before they officially opened their doors, my daughter felt welcomed and safe. We had toured other schools and her reaction to this one was night & day compared to the others. She has attended for over a year & we feel like a part of a family here. She has learned so much & I appreciate the daily updates & photos. I am at peace each day I drop her off & confident she is in the best care. They just held a graduation for the soon-to-be kindergarteners & it was incredible how much love & effort the staff put into the ceremony. We absolutely love this place & all of the wonderful humans in it- Ms. Claire, Ms. Giselle, Ms. Becca, Mr. Jordan, Ms. Phil, Ms. Ari & all of the staff! We would recommend to any & every one!
