We believe in maintaining open and ongoing communication with parents. We provide regular updates via SPS Moments, including photos, details of your child’s day, and important announcements. We also offer parent-teacher conferences and are always available for in-person or phone conversations.
Our HighReach Learning Curriculum incorporates a variety of activities designed to support children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development. From creative arts and crafts to outdoor play, music, and early literacy programs, each day is filled with engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage hands-on learning through play.
Yes! We provide free nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day, prepared following USDA and CACFP guidelines. Our menu caters to children’s dietary needs and preferences, ensuring they receive healthy and balanced meals while in our care.
Yes, Sunrise Preschool West of Galveston & Power is fully licensed and adheres to all state and local regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of every child in our care. Many of our locations also hold additional quality ratings and accreditations, highlighting our commitment to high standards in early childhood education.
We take allergies and dietary restrictions very seriously. We encourage parents to share any specific needs their child(ren) during enrollment, and we’ll make sure your their meals are prepared safely. Our center also follows a nut-free policy, and we’re careful to prevent cross-contamination in our kitchen.

From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and comfortable, and that feeling has continued ever since. Jessica, the Director is professional and friendly. She addresses me when I need assistance or have question, she answers with a sense of urgency. She is proactive and I feel valued and heard. Eternity greets me with an engaging smile and she too, engages me and my granddaughter when we walk in. What means the most to me is knowing that my grandchild is cared for with patience, kindness, and genuine attention. The teachers and staff have been so loving and supportive, and I can see the positive impact they have on my grandchild’s happiness, confidence, and learning. As a grandparent, leaving your grandchild in someone else’s care can be difficult, but Sunrise has given me peace of mind. I appreciate all the little things they do each day—the communication, the encouragement, and the way they make the children feel safe and loved. I’m truly grateful to the entire Sunrise team for everything they do. I would wholeheartedly recommend Sunrise Preschool Daycare Center to any parent/grandparent looking for a safe, loving, and nurturing environment.

8/7/2026Our family has had a wonderful experience at this preschool. From the very beginning, the teachers and staff have made my children feel welcomed, loved, and excited to learn each day. It’s clear that they genuinely care about the children and work hard to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. One thing I really appreciate is the communication. They have an app you can check for updates and pictures. I also made it a priority to get to know my children’s teachers, and they’ve always been willing to share how my kids are doing, celebrate their successes, and work with me when challenges arise. As a parent, that partnership has meant a lot. Every child and family will have different experiences, but what matters most to me is that I’ve consistently seen teachers who care, administrators who want what’s best for the children, and a team that works hard every day to provide quality care. My children have grown socially, emotionally, and academically during their time here, and they genuinely look forward to going to school each morning. I still have one kiddo here and seeing them happy, confident, and excited to learn gives me peace of mind as a parent. I’m grateful for everything this preschool has done for our family and would absolutely recommend it to other parents looking for a caring and supportive place for their children.

They love their teachers and the teachers do a great job at forming positive relationships with the children and their parents. Teachers and staff communicate regularly and do a great job at working with the parents on consistency in the classroom and at home. Jessica and Eturnity are awesome too. They always have a smiling face when I come to pick up and drop off my kids. It looks like they keep a safe place for their teachers too. I love that I see the same teachers every day. Teachers seem happy to work there.
